DIRECTIONS

PLEASE NOTE - If you are going to use either your own GPS, Mapquest or any other computerized method for obtaining directions to Stony Brook Inn, here are the GPS coordinates for us — N 41º 00.709' & W0 75º O6.629'. We strongly urge you only to use them to get to the "Stroudsburg Area" or Delaware Water Gap then utilize the directions on our website to get to us in Shawnee-on-Delaware.

From New York City and points East
Take Route 80 West through the Delaware Water Gap in Pennsylvania. Immediately after paying the toll, take Route 611 South-Delaware Water Gap and the Welcome Center to the traffic light. Proceed straight through the traffic light on River Road for 2 1/2 miles following signs for Shawnee. You will wind around making a sharp right hand turn at a stop sign. As you come into Shawnee Village, the Shawnee General Store will be on your right - the Stony Brook Inn is the very next building on your right - just before the the Shawnee Playhouse.

From Philadelphia and points South
Take Route 276 (from the north side) or Route 476 (from the south side) to the Pennsylvania Turnpike - Northeast Extension (Route 476 North). Follow signs for Allentown. At Allentown follow Route 22 East to Route 33 North about 15 miles. Stay on Route 33 North towards Stroudsburg about 25 miles. Route 209 will merge with Route 80. Follow Route 80 East to Exit 310 toward the Delaware Water Gap. Go down the exit ramp to the 1st traffic light and make a left onto River Rd. Go 2 ½ miles following signs for Shawnee. You will make a sharp right turn at a stop sign. As you come into Shawnee Village, the Shawnee General Store will be on your right, and Stony Brook Inn is the very next building just before the Shawnee Playhouse.

From points West
Take Route 80 East to Exit 310 and follow as above.

From points North
Take Route 209 South from Milford area to Marshalls Creek. Just past Pocono Square/Movieplex on the right follow signs for Shawnee Mountain Ski Area and bear left on Hollow Road. Stay on this road about 4 miles (you will pass the ski area) and Hollow Road will end in Shawnee Village. Stony Brook Inn is the big white house right in front of you.
